Akatsuki Dojo aims to be a place that becomes a source of vitality and energy in people’s lives, like the sun before dawn, the dawn, and the moments before sunrise.

No reservation is required, so if you wish to participate in a trial, please feel free to come directly to the dojo with suitable exercise attire and a towel:

You have the flexibility to attend as much as you’d like within your available time, all covered by a fixed monthly fee.

No matter how many times you come per week or which classes you attend, the fee remains the same.

Reservations are not required for class participation, so feel free to use the facilities at your own pace. You’re welcome to come every day, of course. (We also offer a cost-effective annual payment option.)

There is no enrollment fee.

Sports insurance (¥2,000) is optional and can be added if desired.

Goal of Akatsuki Dojo's Representative, Akio Murayama

Continuing the effort to challenge oneself and becoming a strong individual who is kind and considerate to others.

Through martial arts, I aim to become a compassionate person not only physically, but also mentally stronger.

I strive every day to ensure that our students come to the dojo and leave feeling fulfilled and energized, knowing that they made the right choice by coming. It’s my greatest happiness to see our students satisfied.

I believe that enjoying oneself at the dojo becomes the motivation for coming, and it contributes to becoming energized and healthy. Let’s become stronger, full of energy, and healthy while having fun together.

Many people from the local area choose our dojo due to its proximity. As we have passed the five-year mark since the dojo’s establishment, we feel that it has gained recognition within the community. Of course, we also have individuals who come from farther away.

Class

Striking Mitt Class (Kickboxing Basic Class)

  • Days: Monday to Friday
  • Time: 19:00 – 20:00
  • Weekend and Holidays
  • Time: 10:00 – 11:00
  • Description: After thorough stretching, the class focuses on mitt work. Recommended for beginners, those looking to improve their techniques, and those seeking repetitive practice.

 

Intermediate Striking Class (Kickboxing Intermediate Class)

  • Days: Monday, Wednesday, Friday
  • Time: 20:15 – 21:00
  • Weekend and Holidays
  • Time: 11:15 – 12:00
  • Description: The class primarily involves practical movements focused on countering strikes. Suitable for intermediate level participants.

 

Gi and Judo Techniques Class

  • Day: Tuesday
  • Time: 20:15 – 21:00
  • Description: Participants learn techniques while wearing a gi (uniform). Emphasis is placed on groundwork, holds, strangles, and joint techniques.

Wrestling Comprehensive Class

  • Day: Thursday
  • Time: 20:15 – 21:00
  • Description: This class focuses on takedowns and throws, providing intensive training. Recommended for those seeking increased physical strength and those interested in competitions.

MMA Fundamentals Class

  • Day: Saturday
  • Time: 11:15 – 12:00
  • Description: You can learn a combination of striking and grappling techniques. Practice includes submissions and joint locks to the point of mastery.

Sparring

  • Weekdays
  • Time: 21:15 – 22:00
  • Saturdays, Sundays, and Holidays
  • Time: 12:15 – 13:00
  • Description: High-intensity practical training suitable for those looking to participate in matches or those seeking challenging workouts.

At the beginning and end of all classes, we perform a group bow, and after practice, we clean the dojo together.
